All suncatchers are made in Bergheim Texas in a home studio. With a Bachelor's in Art from UTSA (concentration in painting), Brie Hopkins started working with epoxy resin in 2017 by sealing acrylic artwork in layers of resin. By exploring different uses of the medium, she found a sweet spot by creating thick freeform abstract artwork locked inside a window of color, swirls and sparkles. Pieces take up to 6 weeks to make, carefully layered epoxy resin for a glass-like, glossy finish. Rainbow Magic Studio wants to bring an experience to each buyer, one of breathtaking majesty as the pieces may remind one of the galaxy and how vast our universe really is and how important each of us really are in this vastness.
